To evoke associations with home, to show that a sausage out of the package is as good as the one you have cut yourself.
A wooden chopping board and bread crumbs evoke a direct association with the “male main course” – a sausage sandwich that everybody knows to be so incredibly tasty. A knife in this case serves as a metaphor for hi-tech production aimed at the creation of a top-quality product.
